IV Vitamin Therapy

IV Vitamin Therapy is a voluntary procedure that administers specific vitamins and nutrients directly into your blood stream. While you can take similar oral supplements, infusions bypass the oral breakdown of supplements in your GI tract resulting in better bioavailability and quicker results. It is important to note that IV Vitamin Therapy is not FDA approved or intended to prevent, treat, or cure any medical condition or disease. However, IV Vitamin Therapy may help improve specific symptoms or achieve specific health goals.

Sulcata Psychiatry offers 8 different Vitamin Infusion options provided in-office after a medical evaluation with our providers to determine which infusion will be best for your body and mental health needs. IV Vitamin Therapy holistically complements our other services, such as medication management and therapy.

Vitamin Injections & IV Vitamin Therapy Add-On's

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is essential for adequate muscle, bone, and neurological health. Symptoms of low vitamin D can include depression, fatigue, muscle weakness, pain, or cramping, and bone pain or deformities. Optimizing Vitamin D levels can improve bone and muscle health, but can also improve mood and energy symptoms.

Sulcata Psychiatry offers in-office Vitamin D muscular injections for patients who are vitamin D deficient. Please note that appropriate lab work must be completed and continually monitored in order to receive a Vitamin D injection.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is important in regulating healthy metabolism, producing healthy blood cells, regulating neurotransmitters that affect mood, memory, and anxiety, maintaining healthy hair, skin and nails, supporting immune system response, supporting eye and vision health, preventing bone disease like osteoporosis, and preventing fatigue. Many people experience benefits such as improved energy, metabolism, concentration, and mood after a Vitamin B12 injection. Vitamin B12 injections can also help prevent or improve symptoms of specific anemias.

Sulcata Psychiatry offers in-office Vitamin B12 as a muscular injection or IV Vitamin Therapy add-on for patients wanting to improve overall health and energy levels, improve cognitive functioning and focus, or kickstart weight loss journeys.

Dexamethasone

Dexamethasone is a steroid that improves systemic blood flow and decreases inflammation. Dexamethasone can help reduce symptoms of chronic pain and inflammation, nausea or vomiting, seasonal allergies or asthma, nerve pain, and migraines.

Sulcata Psychiatry offers Dexamethasone as a muscular injection or IV Vitamin Therapy add-on for patients seeking reduction in pain from autoimmune or inflammatory disorders such as fibromyalgia, sciatica, adrenal fatigue, or rheumatoid arthritis, or patients wanting to reduce symptoms of asthma, seasonal allergy flares, or migraines.

Famotidine

Famotidine works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach to reduce symptoms of gastrointestinal upset and discomfort.

Sulcata Psychiatry offers Famotidine as an IV Vitamin Therapy add-on for patients seeking relief from gastric discomfort, heartburn, and stomach upset brought on by migraines or hangover.
